Mill Crafted Homes
Mill-crafted homes have a hand-peeled draw-knifed surface, just like our hand-crafted homes, giving them the same unique appearance, but the logs are milled rather than hand crafted, saving up to 25% off the log package price.
With a wide selection of products and options, our mill-crafted log packages offer a solution for almost any vision. Homes are built using dry Engelman Spruce and Lodgepole Pine logs, resulting in minimal settling after construction.
Dry logs are lighter and more stable than freshly felled timber, which reduces trucking expense and allows for lighter-duty cranes for re-assembly. A further benefit of the reduced settling in our dry-log construction is the ability to build various wall heights, full log gables, and log dormers.
Just like our hand-crafted packages, all of our mill-crafted homes are custom designed to coordinate with your aesthetic objectives and local engineering requirements.
